Jump in with me! In the BLISS system, we spend a lot of time honing our marketing and sales systems. It's where the money resides. We call this process your Client Action Growth Engine or CARE.
Bliss CARE is a 6-step playbook aimed at cultivating customers for the full life of your business. Here's the play:
Step 1 – Attract: visibility to raise awareness of the solution you offer.
Step 2 – Activate: customers take an action to signal they are attracted to you.
Step 3 – Attend to them by nurturing them along a client journey with content and value.
Step 4 – Ask them to do something and then ask them to purchase something.
Step 5- Amaze them with value and over delivery.
Step 6 – Affiliate with them by asking for referral, testimony, collaboration and partnership.
Here's how our BLISS CARE System works IRL.
Meet Danielle. She is a corporate training and development consultant. We were reviewing last year's data and although she had achieved most of her goals, she admitted to feeling a bit apprehensive. The Q4 had been good but she thought it would be better. She was fearing a slow down was on the horizon and would impact the whole year. New year, new fear.
In addition to some mindset work, here's our 3 steps to her getting clarity and get back her marketing confidence. Try it for yourself. It's a good way to jumpstart your 2024 marketing and you'll have a system you can use each year or even every quarter. This now part of her 90-day planning.
1. Market Research. She'll be reaching out to a few of her peers to see if their experience is matching hers. Then some desk research including IBIS, Think with Google, Buzzsumo and her local library can help too. Check out their call in or online services, if you don't have time to visit. Document. We use a Google doc.
2. Clarifying her key client profile. I challenged her to reach out to 7- 10 diverse clients across her funnel just to chat for about 10 minutes to say thank you and chat with them about their journey with her services including pricing, delivery, customer service and competition. She's documenting her process and interactions. (Who is your key or ideal client?)
3. Next week, we're going to analyze her documentation for themes and trends. Then we'll tweak her marketing approach as appropriate- messaging, channels, pitch, pricing, delivery, and customer service. We'll use the data to craft her 2024 CARE playbook.
This is a good check-up at the new year or new quarter even if all seems to be going well. You may be leaving money on the table.
